Founded in 2003, Peru Industries, Inc. was established to distribute unique transfer devices and other medical products to dealers and healthcare facilities throughout the United States.

In 2007 they formed a relationship with Personal-Aide Woodcrafts in Canada to manufacture and distribute their wood transfer and support products in the United States. The unique transfer boards and amputee boards were a perfect fit for Peru Industries. All of their wood products are crafted from Baltic Birch. An extremely strong yet surprisingly lightweight multi-ply wood. The unique shapes and designs of these boards all address a particular physical need or barrier and were created with significant input from Rehab Centers in Canada and the USA. 

Rehab facilities and hospital therapy departments around the country appreciate and utilize these products. In fact there is a physician in Texas that orders a transfer board and writes "No Substitutions" on the prescription because the design of this sliding board works so well assisting his patients. Several hospitals that work with amputees continuously order the amputee boards because they offer superior residual limb or stump support and corrective seating in one device. 

In addition to these products, Peru Industries will custom make boards to your specifications and is currently proto-typing several new products that will likely be introduced later this year.
